   Although certainly not unknown, a visit to the Monastery of Rozhen feels like the discovery of a hidden gem.
   The peaceful retreat lies tranquil in the middle of nature hidden in the mountains. Admire the wood carvings, the many beautiful frescoes, painted walls with icons and biblical scenes, the road to it alone is fairytale-like.

   Kovachevitsa in 1977 declared an "Architectural and Historical Reserve of National Importance" and rests on the end of a magnificent journey through the mountains. Pass in walking space the picturesque villages of Leshten and Ribnovo and arrive at your final destination.
   Enjoy the peaceful tranquillity and enjoy the local delights at Byalata Kushta, the White House. This restaurant is located in one of the highest places in the village and offers a beautiful view.
